I was born and raised in Nottingham, England. I worked as a computer programmer in England before coming to live in Vancouver in 1974. In 1982, I started my own software company working with several Vancouver companies, including Canadian Dental Supply. Whilst living in Surrey, I was very involved with youth soccer, both as a coach and as a referee. In 2000, I started working part-time as a tour guide for a British company. Since then, I have looked after almost a hundred British tour groups visiting Canada.

My wife (Marion) and I came to live in Peachland in 2001 with our youngest son, David. We have five children and eight grandchildren. We have family in Peachland and also in the greater Vancouver area. Having moved to Peachland from Surrey, we really enjoy living in a small community where people can get to know each other. Marion and I like to work together on projects. We are both very involved at Peachland’s Little Schoolhouse and the Peachland Trekkers walking club. We enjoy our role as grandparents.

Peachland is a very special place and I want to make sure that, as the community grows, we keep the “Peachland Spirit”.

I look forward to representing all residents, and hearing different opinions. As I learn more about issues that concern the community, I want to work to keep residents informed. I campaigned on providing more open government and I will try to deliver on that promise.
