Utilities
April 2010 - Peachland joins the majority of Okanagan communities that have switched to water meters to help conserve water. After a year of mock billing, real utility bills arrive in mailboxes this month and will include billing for the amount of water used so far in 2010. The new bills will also show all utilities on one bill: water, sewer and waste collection. Water rates have been set based on last year's water use. Water rates consist of a flat rate paid per quarter plus a fee based on the amount of water used
The bills will be white instead of blue to help distinguish them from last year's mock bills.
If you prefer, you can also go paperless and have your utility bill sent by email. To sign up for the new email service, simply contact us at FINANCE.
