Don't let winter doldrums keep you from being active! The February Freeze Up 5k Run and Walk is an opportunity to get active outdoors. Whether you are participating competitively or for active fun, the social atmosphere will help you get going and keep moving!

ABOUT THE ROUTE
Fairly flat route along Beach Avenue and the foreshore of Okanagan Lake. A very scenic route.
5 km Run and Walk: Start and finish is at Swim Bay at 6th and Beach. Head north along the lakeside until you reach the 2.5 km mark, and then return along the lakeside to the finish line. The course is flat but subject to winter conditions. Please show care when running/walking on slippery roads. No water station on course, but water is available at the community centre before and after the race. Please feel welcome to bring your own on the race course. Warm up refreshments, awards for top three in each age category, and draw prizes follow the race at the community centre.
