The Peachland Triathlon has been a special event of the Peachland Recreation Department since 1994.
LOCATION: Transition area is located at the Peachland Yacht Club parking area, across from Cousins Park
ROUTE INFORMATION
The scenic route features a sprint distance course with a 750m open water swim, 20k bike, and a 5k run. Participants can tackle the race as an individual or as a team (each team member participating in a leg of the race.) The swim starts and finishes at Swim Bay, following a triangular shape. The bike course is two 10k loops, mostly flat and fast, with several hills in the middle. The run course is flat, out and back passing through transition to Heritage Park and return to Swim Bay finish line. Various roads and parking lots/stalls will be closed for this race:

All participants to receive race jersey (mens and ladies styles and sizing. Awards for the Top finisher female and male, plus the top three female and males in each age group. Door prizes . Athletes breakfast is included in their registration fee, with additional breakfasts for family, friends and volunteers available for purchase in advance or at the door.

Race Waivers are required to be signed at the time of sign in on race day, please read and review the current 2013 race waivers forms -2013 Waiver Please note that although street sweeping will be done prior to the Triathlon, please be cognizant of gravel on the road, especially on Robinson Place and corner of Robinson and Buchanan and downhill curve on Beach Ave.
ROAD CLOSURES
• Yacht Club parking on Beach Avenue and 12th Street
• Beach Ave from 1st Street-13th Street (alley way access is permitted between 1st and 6th street)
• Parking stalls directly in front of the Edgewater Hotel
**Residential access will be permitted. Please be cautious of athletes on the road. Roads and downtown parking stalls will be open at approximately 9 am. The parking lot at the Yacht Club will open after the conclusion on the race. Thank you***
