Harold's Walk

Harold Thwaite was a long serving Reeve, Councillor and Mayor of Peachland. The walk was completed by the Peachland Lions Club in 2002 in memory of his contribution to the Peachland community.

Peachland Skate Park

As of Monday, November 26th the Peachland Skate park is open to the public for skateboards, bikes, scooters and more. Landscaping of the site will continue in the spring with a community celebration/sponsor recognition also happening late spring. This park was primarily funded from the Community Amenities fund. These are funds provided by the development community to help us make improvements in public services. No Municipal tax dollars were used to construct the skate park. In addition, the following companies contributed time and resources to the project:

  • Burnco Rock Products Ltd.
  • Ensign Bros Enterprises Ltd
  • Interior Testing Services Ltd
  • Tony Wright Contracting
  • All Safe Traffic Control Inc.
  • The park was scheduled for completion mid December but was open 2 weeks ahead of schedule. The park was designed and built by Newline Skate Parks Inc. which delivered this project ahead of schedule and on budget.
