2016 - Leak Detection Program

The leak detection program for 2016 begins today (Monday, October 17th) and is anticipated to last until the end of the month (approximately).

The consultant performing the work is Watermark Solutions based out of Ontario. The work primarily consists of using high tech listening devices to measure sound at all curb stops, main valves and hydrants in town. Each property in town has a curb stop, a valve that is located at or near the property line.

The majority of the project will be undertaken during daylight hours but there may be some work done in the downtown business core during the night.

If there is any question as to identity of the contractors (or anyone entering your property that identifies themselves as District employees or contractors), please contact the District of Peachland at (250) 767-2108.
