Andrea Tait is the WildSafeBC Community Coordinator for the Okanagan Westside, and her goal is ‘‘to keep wildlife wild and communities safe’. Andrea will be working in the communities of Peachland, West Kelowna, Westbank First Nation, and the Regional District of the Central Okanagan to reduce the human- wildlife conflict through education, innovation and cooperation.
From June to November, Andrea will be involved in a number of public outreach activities, including door-to-door visits in problem areas. You will see her at events around town as she spreads the word about safely living with bears and other critters in our wooded areas.
