Turner Park Upgrades Begin

The District of Peachland is temporarily closing Turner Park effective tomorrow, April 27, and will begin working on upgrades to this community park. Construction fencing will be installed to restrict entry as we work to replace the infield material on the remaining baseball diamond and remediate the turf on the playing field. There will also be some work done to upgrade the irrigation system and run a new water line to the existing washroom to make it ready for use when the park reopens this summer (once the newly planted grass has taken hold).

Residents looking for a place to take the pooch can check out the off-leash area at Sanderson Park, 5900 Sanderson Avenue, or the kids might like the playground at Gillam Crescent Park . Find out more about the Turner Park Project.
