Beach Ave. Overnight Camping Targeted
Beach Avenue Overnight Camping Targeted
Peachland, B.C. – Bylaw Enforcement Officers will be keeping a close eye on Beach Avenue and District parking lots this season, reminding people that parking a recreational vehicle overnight is not allowed in Peachland.
After such a wonderful day on the beach, it’s tempting to just stay, we get it. But Beach Avenue is open for everyone and there’s a reason the District’s Traffic Regulation Bylaw #1856 specifically prohibits parking “recreational vehicles, campers, commercial vehicles and trailers whether or not attached to a vehicle overnight on Beach Avenue or within District parking lots.”
Peachland’s Bylaw Enforcement Officers operate on a rotating shift from now to the end of September and will target overnight parking on Beach Avenue and other problem areas including municipally-owned parking lots on Second Street and at the Peachland Community Centre on Sixth Street.
