Rise and Report – World of Wheels

Council agreed during an In Camera Meeting on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 10 am to rise and report the following:

THAT Council direct staff to provide assistance to the Peachland Chamber of Commerce to plan and operate a family-friendly and business-friendly vintage car event in Peachland on the Sunday of the May long weekend in 2024.

This decision stems from information received by the District of Peachland in December 2023 that the Peachland World of Wheels car show, operated by a private society, would be moving out of Peachland.
