There has been discussion around the Civic Grant Policy/Process and the consideration of a different model to provide consistent funding to some community organizations while also starting to wean some grant recipients off of the program. This type of funding agreement will help both the District and community organizations with budgeting certainty going forward. Council directed Administration to enter into three-year funding agreements, to be ratified by Council, with the following community organizations:
  • Our Space (PCAC, BEEPS, OFSS)
  • Peachland Wellness Centre
  • Peachland Community Police
