PURPOSE OF PROPOSAL Zoning Bylaw Amendment No. 2426 is a proposal to rezone the above noted property from Multi-Unit Infill Residential (RM2) to Beach Avenue Mixed Use (CR3) to facilitate a multi-family development. Zoning Bylaw Amendment No. 2432 is a site-specific text amendment to remove the requirement for commercial use at grade for the above noted property in the CR3 zone. A Public Hearing will not be held for the proposed zoning bylaw amendment pursuant to s.464 of the Local Government Act as the purpose of the proposed bylaw is to permit residential development and is consistent with the District’s Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 2220. WATCH COUNCIL MEETING The proposed bylaw is scheduled for Council consideration of 1st, 2nd and 3rd reading at the Regular Council Meeting held at 6:00pm on January 28th, 2025. ROVIDE COMMENT Comments can be submitted via email to planning@peachland.ca, or sent by mail, or dropped off in-person, to Planning and Development Services, 5806 Beach Avenue, Peachland BC, V0H 1X7. All comments must be submitted in writing, must include your name and address, and be received by 4:00pm on January 28th, 2025. Submissions will not be accepted after this deadline.
