June 14, 2024 - The District of Peachland is calling on all photographers to enter their best photograph in the new CAPTURE PEACHLAND PHOTO CONTEST!
We live in the best place on earth, and, in all seasons, Peachland is a true gem. Let’s prove it with images!
The contest begins Monday, June 17 and runs until Monday, July 29. Enter as many times as you want.
You could win:
1st Prize: $250 Gift Certificate to Peachland business of your choice
2nd prize: $100 Gift Certificate to Peachland business of your choice
3rd prize: $50 Gift Certificate to Peachland business of your choice
The best photo will be:
Clear and high resolution (minimum of 300 dpi).
Be recognizable as a Peachland location, pastime or personality.
A realistic, unedited image.
Include only people who have agreed to be in the picture (photo release required for identifiable people).
A stunning example of Peachland’s natural beauty, outdoor pursuits, people, culture, neighbourhoods, or home gardens. Literally, anything Peachland!

Waivers
By submitting your photo you agree:
The photo is an original and you hold legal right to authorize its use.
To allow the District of Peachland to use a submitted photo in its digital and print materials including website, advertising and social media.
Winning entrants agree to allow the District of Peachland to identify them in contest announcements.
Please Note
Only digital photos will be accepted (.png or .jpeg).
The preferred file size is 1 MB to 3 MB.
All shots must be a minimum of 300 DPI.
Photographers will be asked to complete a RELEASE FORM for all people identifiable in the photos.
Photographers under the age of 18 will be asked to provide a RELEASE FORM signed by a parent or legal guardian to participate.
Inappropriate content will not be accepted.
Peachland Mayor and Council will select the winning photos from anonymous entries shortlisted by the Corporate Services Department in August 2024. Winners will be announced on the District’s website and social media in August.
