Whinton Crescent Partial Closure and Single Lane Alternating Traffic on Princeton Avenue

Prompted by Nearby Subdivision Construction

Peachland, B.C. – Subdivision development at 4880 Princeton Avenue requires the closure of the southern intersection of Princeton Avenue and Whinton Crescent and single lane alternating traffic through the work zone on Princeton Avenue between Sanderson Avenue and Whinton Crescent beginning Monday, June 24, 2024.

The works are anticipated to continue until Friday, September 13, 2024. Residents are asked to access Whinton Crescent via the north end during construction. Bus stops on Princeton Avenue within the work zone will be closed with patrons asked to use stops at the north end of Whinton Crescent or at the intersection with Sanderson Avenue.

Residents with schoolchildren will be advised by the School District of the change for pickup/drop off location to Princeton Avenue between lower Whinton Crescent and Turner Avenue.

Motorists are asked to adhere to construction signage and the instructions of traffic control personnel. Pedestrian access through the construction zone will be maintained; pedestrians are reminded to follow the instructions of traffic control personnel.
