Full Day of Family Fun at Peachland’s Canada Day Celebrations

Featuring ABBA & Fleetwood Mac Tribute Bands & Fireworks Over the Lake

Peachland, B.C. – Don’t miss Peachland’s Canada Day celebrations Monday, July 1, with free concerts featuring ABBA and Fleetwood Mac Tribute bands in Heritage Park, activities for the whole family, food vendors and one of the best FIREWORKS displays in the Valley!

Here are the HIGHLIGHTS of the action-packed day of fun in Peachland.

Activities in Heritage Park, Beach Avenue and 1st Street
  • 1:00 – 8:00 pm: Bouncy Castle and Sparkle Tattoos
  • 1:00 – 1:45 pm: Leif David, Children’s Magic Show
  • 1:45 – 3:00 pm: Papa Thom and The Elderly Brothers Concert
  • 2:30 – 4:00 pm: Kids t-shirt art with Peachland Community Arts Council
  • 4:00 - 7:00 pm: Peachland Lions BBQ

Canada Day Parade, Mayor’s Address, Anthem & Cake Cutting

Beach Avenue from 1st Street to 13th Street will be closed to traffic from 4 to 6 pm to accommodate the parade.
  • 4:30 – 5:30 pm: Route is along Beach Avenue starting at 13 Street and ending at Heritage Park.
  • 6:00 – 6:30 pm: Mayor’s Address, National Anthem (Papa Thom), Cake Cutting

Free Evening Concerts & Fireworks by the Lake

Bring your blanket or lawn chair to Heritage Park for free cake and music in the park.
  • 6:30 – 8:00 pm: ABBA Tribute Concert by Arrival & Dreams
  • 8:30 – 10:00 pm: Fleetwood Mac Tribute Concert by Arrival & Dreams
  • 10:00 pm: Fireworks Over the Lake

Fireworks will be discharged from a barge on Okanagan Lake by certified personnel and extra precautions will be taken to ensure fire safety. The fireworks show will begin at 10:00 pm and will be visible from most locations along Beach Avenue.

There is also a pancake breakfast at the 50+ Centre from 8 to11am ($10/adult, $5/child 6-12 years, FREE for children 5 and under). Community Partners participating in Canada Day: Peachland Lion’s Club, Peachland Ambassadors, BGC, Peachland Community Arts Council, Peachland Rotary, and 50+ Centre. The District appreciates the financial support provided by the Government of Canada for the 2024 Canada Day celebrations in Peachland.
