Task Force Launches Climate Action Survey
Peachlanders asked to give input on preparing for Climate Change
Peachland, B.C. – Peachland Council’s Climate Action Task Force has launched an online survey to find out how the District of Peachland and its residents can work together to limit climate pollution and prepare for the impacts of climate change. The Task Force, made up of volunteer residents, will develop a Climate Action Plan for Peachland and need your input.
This survey is an important part of the Task Force’s public consultation process. It asks questions about experiences with climate change in Peachland and about concerns and ideas about what can be done. Responses will be compiled and used to help inform Peachland’s plan. A draft of that plan will be shared with the residents for further feedback before preparing a Final Draft for Peachland Council’s consideration.
The more the merrier! The Task Force hopes to hear from as many Peachlanders as possible to hear a
diversity of voices. The more engagement from the community, the stronger the plan will be. Responses
will be anonymous unless you want to become more involved and choose to identify yourself. Even if you do identify yourself, your responses will be separated from your contact information so that those responses then become anonymous within the full set of data collected by the survey.
All interested respondents will be invited to enter a draw for an EMERGENCY KIT!
The survey is open from November 13 to December 31, 2024.
