District Makes Strategic Land Purchase in Trepanier

Peachland, B.C. – The District of Peachland has purchased 5180 Trepanier Bench Road.

The 1.3 hectare property in the Trepanier neighbourhood is at the northern extent of the Lang Trail and adjacent to Trepanier Bench Park. It currently contains a small single-family house built in 1973, a barn and a workshop. The property is accessed from Trepanier Bench Road but has frontage on Dryden Road. It is large and relatively flat with a spectacular lake vista.

This purchase, for $1.5 million, adds a strategic asset to the District’s land inventory. The District will review the community’s needs and engage with the public before providing a recommendation to Council for future use of the property.
