Start your Canada Day celebrations with a BC Athletics-sanctioned road race along scenic Okanagan Lake. Starting at Peachland's Heritage Park, this family-friendly event will include a certified 5K run or a 3K fun run along Peachland's Beach Ave. This event is part of the Interior Running Association road race series. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged to secure entry into the race. Limited day-of registrations may be accepted pending availability -- cash only for day-of entry. Registration is available online, over the phone (250.767.2133), or in person at the Peachland Community Centre.

Adults (13+):

Children 6-12:

BC Athletics members receive a $3.00 discount with proof of membership. Only valid registrations made over the phone or in person.

WAIVERS AND INFORMED CONSENT

To participate in this event, all adult (19+ years) participants must complete and sign a waiver, and all child/youth (under 19 years) participants must have an informed consent form completed and signed by their parent/legal guardian. To save time on race day, print, fill out and sign your paperwork in advance.

RACE MAPS

3K Race Route

• Check in at Heritage Park and complete event waivers/informed consent forms for all participants
• Meet at Heritage Park (1st St & Beach Ave) for the 7:30am race start.
• Proceed along Beach Ave and the foreshore of Okanagan Lake. Keep to the lakeside of the road.
• Make a U-turn at Beach Ave & 12th St.
• Proceed along the lakeside of Beach Ave back towards the finish line at Heritage Park.

5K Race Route

• Meet at Heritage Park (1st St & Beach Ave) for the 7:30am race start.
• Proceed along Beach Ave and the foreshore of Okanagan Lake. Keep to right of the lakeside (northbound) lane of the road.
• At Beach Ave and 13th Street, move onto the shoulder of the road.
• Continue on the road shoulder.
• Make a U-turn at the Trepanier Bridge.
• Proceed back towards Heritage Park staying on the road shoulder of the lake-side lane.
• At Beach Ave and 13th Street, transition back onto the road, keeping to the middle of the lakeside (northbound) lane.
• Continue back to Heritage Park and cross through the finish line arch.
