Building Inspection

The Building Department ensures that the construction of buildings and structures within the District of Peachland meet the standards of the BC Building Code, the Building Bylaw, and other applicable bylaws and/or policies. This is an important step to ensure the safety of your family and guests, protect the investment of your property for yourself and future owners, and to ensure local regulations and codes are met.

The Building Department consists of one Building Manager and one Building Official/Plan Checker, that administer the Building Bylaw and oversee building permit applications, permit issuance, inspections, and inquiries.
