In the spring of 2012, Council received a request from the public to consider a dog park in Peachland. In follow up to the request, staff did some preliminary research, then Council directed staff to form a Dog park advisory committee. The committee reviewed policies and practices in other communities, visited dog parks, and conducted a survey of Peachland dog owners. In the fall of 2013, the committee proposed a multi-year strategy to develop dog parks in Peachland.
