Mission Statement

The District of Peachland, as party to the B.C. Climate Action Charter initiative, will foster a community and workplace culture that respects the environment including the reduction of GHG’s, and the efficient use of water resources.

Climate action goals will be identified based on quality research, assessment, collaboration and communication

Change will be achieved through actions which identify, monitor, and report on District and community resource use and emissions, direct action, accepted and sustainable energy management, transportation and development practices, and community education programs.
