Peachland Boys and Girls Club Easter Egg Hunt 2017

Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 15, 11:00 am-12:30 pm, Boys and Girls Club, $5/child

Families invited! Mark your calendar for our third annual Family Easter Party!

Children can have their faces painted, create cute Easter crafts, hop in the bouncy castle and even see the Easter Bunny. Rubber Ducky Race: Saturday, April 15, 1pm-3pm at Trepanier Beach Park. $2.00 per duck.

Peachland Lions Divas and Diamonds 2017, Ladies Only Fundraiser to Support KGH

Peachland Lions Club Presents: Divas & Diamonds: Saturday, April 22, 6:00 pm, Westbank Lions Community Hall.

The Trail of the Okanagans - Tea at the Top of the Fur Brigade Trail 2017

Following last year's very successful Tea at the Top event we are excited to invite you to the 2017 edition - see attached poster for details.

This year's Tea at the Top will take place on Sunday May 28. Once again hikers will meet bikers at the Fur Brigade Lookout. Cookies and tea are available. In support of our fundraising activities, cash donations are accepted. Proceeds will be applied to Fur Brigade Trail enhancements connecting Summerland with Peachland through Garnett Valley.

Please help us spread the word. We wish to extend an invitation to groups and individuals that enjoy our natural treasurers and may help us realize our vision of connecting Osoyoos with Sicamous through a network of trails. Tea at the Top is supported by various local organizations. It is a designated 'Chain of Events' and 'Canada 150' event.

Opton 1: Interpretive hike from the Hardy Falls south of Peachland. Access from Highway 97. Arrive by 10:30 and park at Hardy Falls to join carpool. A 3.5 km hike (7 km return) on rough trail surface. 300 m elevation gain. Bring a bag lunch, water, hiking poles (optional). Wear sturdy shoes and dress for variable weather. The outlook is a bit cooler than the valley. Back at your car by 3:30 pm.

Option 2: Bicycle ride from Priest Camp at Garnet Lake. Take Garnet Valley Road north out of Summerland and continue past paved surface. Arrive by 11:30 and park at Priest Camp (Garnet Lake), just past the dam. A 4 km ride (8 km return) on rough road surface. 80 m elevation gain. Bring a bag lunch, water, helmet and a sturdy bike (mountain bike preferred). Back at your car by 3:00 p.m.
