A fireworks show will wow the crowds on Beach Avenue this Saturday, capping a full day of events to celebrate Canada Day. Peachland Fire & Rescue received approval from the BC Wildfire Service to hold the annual fireworks show on Saturday, July 1 despite the current provincial ban on fireworks. Fireworks will be discharged from a barge on Okanagan Lake by certified personnel and extra precautions will be taken to ensure fire safety. The fireworks show will begin at 10:30 pm and will be visible from most locations along Beach Avenue. Traffic Impacts on July 1, 2023 Canada Day celebrations will impact Beach Avenue traffic with closures to accommodate the morning Peachland Beach Run and the afternoon Parade:- 7:15 to 9:15 am (Beach Run) ONE WAY TRAFFIC ONLY SOUTH BOUND No north bound traffic will be permitted on Beach Avenue from 1st to 13th Street. South bound access is available at 13th Street.
- 4 to 6 pm (Canada Day Parade) – BEACH AVENUE IS CLOSED from 1st to 13th Street.

CANADIANA KIDS T-SHIRT PROJECT
