The District of Peachland has declared a By-Election to fill a vacancy on Council.

| January 27 | Nomination Period begins at 9:00 AM |
| February 6 | Nomination Period ends at 4:00 PM |
| February 14 | Campaign Period begins |
| February 16 | Declaration of Election by Voting or Acclamation |
| March 14 | General Voting Day (If Required) |
THINKING OF RUNNING FOR OFFICE?
Qualifications for Office:
- Canadian citizen;
- 18 years of age or older on general voting day;
- resident of BC for at least 6 months immediately before the day nomination papers are filed;
- not disqualified under the Local Government Act or any other enactment from voting in an election in BC or from being nominated for, being elected to or holding the office, or be otherwise disqualified by law.
Nomination packages will be available at Municipal Hall during regular business hours starting January 7, 2026.

2026 Municipal Election
Every four years the District of Peachland holds a Municipal Election where residents elect a Mayor and six Councillors. In Peachland, Council members are elected at-large, which means the Mayor and Council represent the entire population. Peachland does not have a ward system, voters in town may choose up to six candidates for Council, one candidate for Mayor and one School Trustee.
The next general election will be: Saturday, October 17, 2026
