2026 Capture Peachland Photo Contest

Calling all photographers! Whether you're a seasoned shutterbug or simply love snapping photos on your phone, it's time to show us your favourite views, moments, and experiences in Peachland.

After an incredible response last year with more than 300 photo submissions, the District of Peachland is excited to launch the 2026 Capture Peachland Photo Contest. With breathtaking lake views, vibrant community events, beautiful parks, and unforgettable sunsets, Peachland offers endless opportunities to capture what makes our community so special.

The contest runs from June 15 to July 24, 2026, and entries are invited in the following categories:

People & Pets in Parks
Showcase the fun, connection, and activity happening in Peachland's parks, beaches, playgrounds, and sports fields. Bonus points for furry friends enjoying the outdoors!
Vibrant Views
Capture the stunning scenery that makes Peachland famous — lake vistas, dramatic sunsets, seasonal colours, and spectacular landscapes.
Peachland Close-Up
What makes Peachland unique beyond the view? Share photos featuring arts and culture, community events, local experiences, patios, nature, cycling, paddling, beach days, and more.

The winning photograph in each category will receive a $200 gift certificate to the Peachland business of their choice.

Mayor and Council will select the winning entries from an anonymous shortlist prepared by the Corporate Services Department. Winners will be announced on the District's website and social media channels in August 2026.

CONTEST RULES

2026 Capture Peachland Photo Contest Rules

Enter your photo in one of these CATEGORIES:

People & Pets in Parks - showcase our beautiful playgrounds, beaches, sports fields and parkland and how much we, and our pets, enjoy them.
Vibrant Views – let’s see those amazing vistas and lakeside shots with those stunning sunsets and seasonal colours. You know what we’re talking about.
Peachland Close-Up – What do you love about Peachland (apart from those views)? Think arts & culture, nature experiences, community events, patios, biking, paddling and beach days!

The selected photograph in each category will win a $200 Gift Certificate to the Peachland business of their choice.

The best photos will be:

Clear and high resolution (minimum of 300 dpi).
Be recognizable as a Peachland location, pastime or personality.
A realistic, unedited image.
Include only people who have agreed to be in the picture (photo release may be required for identifiable people).

Submit your photos to info@peachland.ca. You can submit more than one photo, but please do not submit the same photo in two or more categories. If you do not indicate a category, we will pick one for you.

Waivers

By submitting your photo you agree:

The photo is an original and you hold legal right to authorize its use.
To allow the District of Peachland to use a submitted photo in its digital and print materials including website, advertising and social media.
Winning entrants agree to allow the District of Peachland to identify them in contest announcements.

Please Note

Only digital photos will be accepted (.png or .jpeg).
The preferred file size is 3 MB or more.
All shots must be a minimum of 300 DPI.
Photographers will be asked to complete a RELEASE FORM for all people identifiable in the photos.
Photographers under the age of 18 will be asked to provide a RELEASE FORM signed by a parent or legal guardian to participate.
Inappropriate content will not be accepted.

Peachland Mayor and Council will select the winning photo from each category from anonymous entries shortlisted by the Corporate Services Department in August 2026. Winners will be announced on the District’s website and social media in August.
