Schedule:
Swim Bay is supervised by certified lifeguards from June 15 to August 28, 2026, operating 7 days a week from 10:00 AM to 5:45 PM.
First Aid:
Available from June 15 to August 28, 2026, operating 7 days a week from 10:00 AM to 5:45 PM in the lifeguard room attached to the Swim Bay washrooms. If there is an emergency outside of these hours, please call 911.
Safety Guidelines:
· Life jackets are available at designated stations.
· Children under 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult.
· Children under 6 must remain within arm’s reach of a responsible adult at all times.
· Be aware of changing water depths.
· Dogs are only permitted in designated areas.
· Watercraft (including paddleboards, kayaks, and inflatables) are not permitted in the swimming area.
· No running on docks.
· No throwing rocks, pushing, or rough play.
· No smoking or vaping.
· No glass or alcohol permitted.
· No open flames.

· Public lifejacket stations (sizes ranging from 30lbs to adult)

· Junior Lifeguard Club led by certified lifeguards

· Designated dog area (located on the grass beyond the T-Dock; dogs are not permitted in the water)
Group Bookings: 
Peachland Recreation can accommodate large groups and day camps of up to 150 participants with advance booking. To reserve, please email recreation@peachland.ca or call 250-767-2133 ext. 1.

 Wheelchair Access & Guidelines:
· Water access is available via a large ramp at the lifeguard station.
· An aquatic wheelchair is available for use daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM during lifeguard hours.
· The aquatic wheelchair must be used with the assistance of a guardian, friend, or family member. Independent use is not permitted.
· Please speak with a lifeguard for assistance with setup, water entry, and a brief orientation on proper use. Lifeguards are also available to assist with exiting the water and transferring in and out of the chair.
