FAMILY GLOW RUN

Enjoy a stroll or run with the whole family under the spell of the night. Starting at Peachland's Heritage Park, this all-ages event will include a 5K run or a 3K walk or run along scenic Beach Ave. Check-in will take place at Heritage Park from 6:15-7:00 pm. The race begins at 7:15 pm.
This event is all about fun! Dress up in your best and brightest clothing (think 1980s workout gear!), don some glow sticks, lace up your running/walking shoes, and help us light up the night!
Both pre-registration and day-of registration will be accepted for this event (only cash will be accepted on race day). Registration is available online, over the phone (250.767.2133), or in person at the Peachland Community Centre.
Adults (13+):
Children 6-12:
Children under 6: Free, but registration is still required
WAIVERS AND INFORMED CONSENT

To participate in this event, all adult (19+ years) participants must complete and sign a waiver, and all child/youth (under 19 years) participants must have an informed consent form completed and signed by their parent/legal guardian. To save time on race day, print, fill out and sign your paperwork in advance.

RACE MAPS
3K Race Route
- Check in at Heritage Park and complete event waivers/informed consent forms for all participants
- Meet at Heritage Park (1st St & Beach Ave) for the 7:30 pm race start
- Proceed along Beach Ave and the foreshore of Okanagan Lake. Keep to the lake side of the road.
- Make a U-turn at Beach Ave & 12th St
- Proceed along the lake side of Beach Ave back towards the finish line at Heritage Park
6K Race Route
- Complete a second lap of the 3K race route
EVENT HISTORY
The Glow Run was established in 2015 to create a family-friendly shoulder season event in Peachland. The first event had 42 participants and quickly grew to be successful in 3 short years.
