The Evacuation Alert due to the Peachland Creek Wildfire will remain in place overnight. Renfrew Road is currently closed and motorists can expect continued traffic impacts there and on Highway 97 as Peachland Firefighters continue mop up efforts and BC Hydro works to restore power. Residents will notice continued smoke in the vicinity of the fire overnight. Emergency personnel will be on site throughout the evening to monitor the situation.
