Why are the park sprinklers still running?
The District of Peachland is taking a proactive approach and will not be irrigating its outlying parks. They will continue irrigation of sports fields and downtown parks to maintain these valuable public amenities. The District adheres to a conservative watering schedule for its fields, parks and gardens, watering during optimal hours and minimizing watering during sustained days of precipitation.
