Closures May 6 to 14 as ministry completes work
The Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MOTT) will require evening road closures on Highway 97 at the Buchanan Road North and Huston Road intersections from Wednesday, May 6 to Thursday, May 14, as electrical conduits are installed and asphalt paving is completed.
Buchanan Road North and Huston Road will detour through Buchanan Rd South and Trepanier Bench Road respectively during the evening closure from 7 pm to 6 am. Robinson Lane and Walker Road will remain open.
Motorists are asked to watch for traffic personnel and follow all signage to help ensure a safe environment for the public and construction crews.
This MOTT project is expected to improve safety at these busy intersections with Highway 97.
