On Saturday, October 17, 2026, eligible Peachland voters will elect one mayor, six councillors and one school board trustee who will serve the community for the 2026–2030 term.

To participate in the election, you must meet the eligibility requirements established under the Local Government Act. Before heading to the polls, take a few minutes to confirm your eligibility, review voting dates and locations, and ensure you have the required identification.

Important Voter Information
At the time of voting, all electors are required to declare they are the following:
18 years of age or older on general voting day, October 17, 2026
a Canadian citizen
a resident of BC for a least six (6) months before general voting day, October 17, 2026
a current resident of Peachland, or a registered owner of real property in Peachland, for at least 30 days immediately preceding general voting day, October 17, 2026
not disqualified under the Local Government Act, any other enactment from voting in local elections or be otherwise disqualified by law

General Voting Day
October 17, 2026 8 am to 8 pm Peachland Community Centre, 4450 6th Street
resident electors must produce two pieces of identification, at least one with a signature. Picture identification is not necessary
identification must prove both residency and identity
there is no need to pre-register to vote; registration will happen at the time of voting
Non-resident property electors must produce two pieces of identification, a least one of which must include a signature, to establish their identity and prove that they are entitled to register in relation to the property (ownership). If the property has more than one owner, written consent from the majority of the property owners is also required.

The nomination period is September 1 to 11, 2026.
Unofficial election results will be published on the District's website as soon as possible after polls close on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
