The District of Peachland is seeking community-minded residents to volunteer for its Council Remuneration Committee.

The Committee will review and provide recommendations regarding compensation for Mayor and Council, helping ensure remuneration remains fair, transparent, and reflective of comparable municipalities and the responsibilities of elected office.

The District is looking for residents with an interest in local government, governance, finance, human resources, business, or community service. Previous committee experience is helpful but not required.

Committee members will participate in a limited number of meetings and work collaboratively to develop recommendations for Council’s consideration.

Volunteering on the Committee is an excellent opportunity to contribute to transparent and accountable local government while helping shape important governance practices within the community.

Residents interested in serving on the Council Remuneration Committee can apply or find out more by emailing corporateservices@peachland.ca. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2026.
