The Regional District of Central Okanagan is hosting a Pop-Up Recycling Depot this Saturday, July 11, for Peachland residents. Participants will get a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to a local business of their choice.

The Pop-Up Recycling Depot makes it easier for residents to responsibly recycle depot-only recyclable materials, saving residents from driving to West Kelowna to recycle certain items.
Staff will be available at this event to answer questions and accept depot only recyclables such as glass, Styrofoam, plastic bags, flexible plastics, electronics, small appliances, batteries, light bulbs and light fixtures. For residents that do not have curbside collection, containers, paper and cardboard are also accepted. Residential recyclables only please, no commercial material is accepted.
