Protective Services Building Referendum

Peachland Protective Services Building Referendum

Ensuring the safety of our community is a top priority. As Peachland continues to grow, our existing fire hall will be unable to meet the increased demand for emergency response services.

This fall, eligible voters will be invited to vote in a referendum on whether to support the borrowing of funds to relocate and construct a new Protective Services Building. A new Protective Services Building will improve Peachland’s fire and emergency service operations and support the long-term safety of our community.

The project proposes to relocate the Fire Hall to a District-owned property at the corner of San Clemente Avenue and 13th Street, where a new Protective Services Building will be constructed. The new facility will house the fire department and may include other community safety services to serve Peachland and beyond.
