The District of Peachland is pleased to share that approximately $1 million in infrastructure improvements will be completed along Coldham Road as part of a new 5-lot subdivision project at 5371 Coldham Road. These developer-funded upgrades will enhance safety, accessibility, and long-term service reliability in the area, and include:
New sidewalks along the property frontage
Installation of streetlights
Watermain extension and installation of additional hydrants
Storm water infrastructure extensions
Road restoration
To safely complete this work, Coldham Road will be temporarily closed from March 20 to May 8. Due to the size of the excavation, equipment required and limited road width, there is not enough space to safely accommodate traffic alongside construction.
The Traffic Control Professionals have confirmed that a full closure is the safest approach to protect workers and the public. All traffic, including pedestrians, emergency services, school buses and waste/recycling collection, will be detoured during this period. Detour routes are shown on the map below.
