Avoid penalties and pay Peachland property taxes
by 4 pm Thursday July 2, 2026

Peachland property taxes are due Thursday, July 2, 2026 by 4 pm. Don’t risk a penalty; claim your Home Owner Grant and pay your property taxes by the due date. Don’t forget Wednesday, July 1 is Canada Day, a statutory holiday, and the District of Peachland offices will be closed.

If you have not received your 2026 Property Tax Notice, please contact the Finance Department at 250-767-2647 or email finance@peachland.ca.

To claim your Home Owner Grant visit gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant or call toll free 1-888-355-2700. Once your application is complete, record your confirmation number. You can check your application status on the Province's website, and the Province will forward the approved grant to the District on your behalf.

To avoid a late penalty charge of 10%, payment must be received by the District by July 2, 2026.  This is a statutory penalty and cannot be waived. The Home Owner Grant must be claimed by July 2, 2026 to avoid the penalty.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

In-Person
In-person payments can be made by cheque, cash, money order or debit between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays, at the District of Peachland Municipal Office located at 5806 Beach Avenue. If you’re paying by debit (Interac), please ensure your daily transaction limit is greater than your taxes owing or the payment will be declined. You may need to contact your bank to increase your daily limit as the District has no control over this limit. Credit cards are not accepted.

Drop Box
You can drop your non-cash payment in our drop box located to the right of the main entrance door.

Online
At this time, please choose an alternate payment method to make sure your payment is received by the District prior to the due date. While payments can normally be made online through most financial institutions, banks typically require up to 5 business days to process payments.
