Drive BC is opening Highway 97 south to Summerland on a limited basis, highly dependent on fire behaviour and changing requirements of the BC Wildfire Service.
Traffic will be permitted only from 7 am to 7 pm daily as a through route only.
* No stopping or exiting the highway at any time *
Speed reduction in place, expect workers on or adjacent to the roadway.
Please respect all traffic control instructions.
The Bald Range Wildfire is still active, please use caution. Avoid arriving before opening time.
